Dear Cherished HFTH Guest,

As we sip our morning coffee, reminiscing about the incredible journey that brought us here, Tina and I are thrilled to share our tale of dreams, adventure and “Living an Extraordinary Life!”

Did you know, The Hosting from the Heart hospitality roots came from the yachting world?

Indeed, before starting a family, we (Thomas & Tina) journeyed across the globe as professional yacht crew, perfecting our 5-star hospitality for the world's elite.

This incredible experience unknowingly set the foundation for our future journey as premier vacation rental hosts.

Drawing from our combined 25 years of unparalleled luxury service — myself as a Yacht Captain and Tina as a Yacht Stewardess, later transitioning into High Net Worth Estate Management — we ventured into creating a world class portfolio of unique vacation homes.

Our mission was clear: to introduce a level of service and personalized care previously unseen in this industry

Here is the cliff notes version of how HFTH began!

In the summer of 2015, a lifelong dream took shape for us in the form of our very own mountain cabin, 'Tuck-a-way.' Evoking memories of my childhood summers in Canada, this cabin wasn't just a purchase; it was a heartfelt dive into tradition.

We honorably named our new cabin after the lakeside cottage my great-grandfather built in 1950 on Shadow Lake. We didn't know it yet, but this was the beginning of something truly remarkable.

In 2016, the arrival of our beautiful second daughter, Aven Grace, added a delightful yet bustling rhythm to our lives, so we decided to take a leap of faith, and listed Tuck-A-Way on Airbnb.

  We decided not to just rent out a space; we wanted to share a piece of our hearts and traditions with other families.

This genuine touch, coupled with our impeccable attention to detail and deep passion for hospitality, gave life to 'Hosting from the Heart.

Fast forward to today, and we're the proud guardians of over 27 uniquely curated properties sprawled across some of Colorado's most charming towns; including Breckenridge, Keystone, Frisco, Silverthorne, Fairplay, Littleton, and Manitou Springs.

This ethos is championed not just by us, but by our all-star team. Whether it's Amy's masterful attention to homey details and creative design, Traci's commitment to ensuring your stay is extraordinary and stress-free, or the tireless efforts of our amazing housekeeping and maintenance teams, our family at 'Hosting from the Heart' promises you more than just a stay. We promise an experience.
